Advocacy Organization CILWW provides independent living
services to people with disabilities. Services include: Advocacy,
Independent skills training, Information and Referral & Peer support.
Specialties and Target Groups
CILWW provides additional independent living services of Accessibility
recommendations, Assistive Technology assessments, AT loan program, Computer
Assessments and training, ADA surveys, Communication resources, Benefits
Analysis, Employment services. CILWW provides information and training on
disabilities and disability related issues. CILWW publishes a quarterly
newsletter and maintains a web site at

Delivery
Styles/Methodology/Philosophical Background Information
CILWW is a non-profit organization serving people with disabilities
in Western WI. It is a non-residential, consumer controlled Center operated
by a skilled staff, Board of Directors, and volunteers comprised primarily
of people with disabilities.
We believe a person has the right to choose where and
how they want to live and to be responsible for their choices. Our focus is
to empower consumers in making choices that maintain or increase their
independence.
CILWW advocates for the full participation in society
of all persons with disabilities.
Eligibility Persons with
a disability living in the counties of: Dunn, Eau Claire, Barron, Polk,
Pierce, Pepin, Chippewa, Clark, St. Croix, or Rusk. Services are generally
delivered in the person's home or place of their choice. Information and
referral is available to anyone
Cost of Service Most
services are free. There may be eligibility and funding requirements for
employment services.
