Chippewa Valley Mental Health Resources Roadmap

General Services Offered - Advocacy Organization
Navigating the Resource Roadmap for Mental Health may feel like a maze or a minefield.  We can help!  If you are looking for resources for your child with emotional, behavioral or mental health concerns, you may find some practical directions here.  We've listed some Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's) that may help you on the road to finding answers for your family.
  1.  What if our health insurance doesn't cover our child's treatment needs?
  2. How can we learn about Medicaid programs for our child and family?
  3. Are there any support groups or "parent to parent" resources for us?
  4. Who can help us with school problems and the IEP process?
  5. Where do we begin if we don't have a diagnosis for our child?
  6. How can we learn about our child's diagnosis and where to get treatment close to home?
  7. Are there any advocacy groups I can connect with to improve access to quality mental health care and the funding to pay for it?
The Western Region Center for Children with Special Health Care Needs (CSHCN) also works with children with mental health needs.  Together, we can help find the answers to these and other questions about mental health resources in the Chippewa Valley.
