General Services
Public Health Nurses provide health education, referral and advocacy. A Health Benefits Specialist provides information and assistance in application for health benefit programs.

Delivery Styles/Methodology/Philosophical Background Information
Public Health Nurses work with families in Eau Claire City and County. They provide teaching and support to families regarding growth and development, childhood and chronic illness, and parenting issues. They assist families in identifying and utilizing community and medical resources.

Services are provided in homes, schools, clinics and other community settings to meet the needs of clients.

Residing in Eau Claire City or County

Cost of Service
There are no charges for clients. Services are funded through grants and city and county tax dollars.
