Luther Midelfort's Kids HelpLine is a service
and resource for health providers, social workers, parents and schools who are
concerned about a child or adolescent's well being. The HelpLine can
suggest treatment options for children and adolescents who are struggling to

their families. Path starts in the future and works backward to an

Social Security
Administration |
Social Security Administration benefits are
payable to disabled children under age 18 who have limited income and
resources, or who come from homes with limited income and resources.
The benefits include eligibility for Wisconsin Medicaid card and a
monthly cash payment. To qualify, children must meet social security's
definition of disability and the household income and assets must fall
within the household income eligibility limits.

The Wisconsin Child Care
Resource and Referral (CCR&R) Network is an
organization made up of the 17 community-based CCR&R agencies
serving all of Wisconsin. Their mission is to exercise
leadership in the creation of an inclusive, high-quality child
care/child development system and to promote the professional growth
and development of its member agencies.
The Network offers training and technical assistance to its
member agencies, collaborates with other agencies related to child
care at the state level, and works on other projects as funding
allows, including a statewide consumer education campaign and a Hmong
family child care project. |

Wisconsin First Step |
Wisconsin First Step is a statewide Information and Referral (I&R)
hotline that serves families with children who have special health
care needs.
The hotline is open 24/7 and is answered Monday-Friday, 8 am - 4
pm by Parent Specialists. The Parent Specialists have specialized
disability knowledge and have a child with a special need. |

WSPEI |
The mission of Wisconsin Statewide
Parent-Educator Initiative (WSPEI) is to help schools promote
partnerships with families of children with disabilities. Developed by
the Department of Public Instruction, WSPEI is a service for parents,
